First Image with new tools, “Where is Bill?” July 26th.

Sketchbank was started on a dual core AMD running at 2.8gh with only 2 gigabytes of RAM.  I was able to make it useful far beyond its years by using Lubuntu for my OS and sticking to basic software like Mypaint and Gimp.  The old PC didn’t do well in the move across the country, it still functioned but one of the RAM cards/slots was starting to fail and the drives where suffering from numerous bad sectors.  It was time to upgrade my work station.

To my delight I was able to find exactly what I was looking for from a company I trust.  Now with a whopping sixteen times more RAM and a current generation processor and an accurate monitor, I can create large images with much more clarity, and a whole new world of tools is available.

For Sketchbank’s return I chose Krita to create “Where is Bill?”  Inspired by the film “Kill Bill“, by Quentin Tarantino.
